Imprisoned between state surveillance and corporate copyright, we are disprotected by any means necessary, and every single act we make as human beings is being published without our consent.
Our freedom is traded for trade, our power for power, our expression reduced to 256 colours, our culture genericised and homogenised, our hopes and responses appropriated, our vision supplanted by manufactured fears. Our codes are no longer our own, our languages stolen. A war of terror is carried out in our name for our own good. We live life by proxy, vicariously smashing the world to pieces while hidden behind a mantra of mediocrity, a wall of trivial repeat. It is time to break the rules and smash the pattern.
The Freedom we have been sold is soiled, a dead and putrid fish. There is no air to breathe, society becomes a gas mask. Our future is past, our hopes a legacy of destruction.
It is the words we no longer use which hold the key: Progress, People, Uprising, Listen, Ban The Bomb, No More War, Empowerment, Equality, Revolution, Justice, Human Rights, Joy, Love, Peace, Hope
The time is now. Take back the word, disarm the controllers. We say stand up, shed the shackles, break the mould and risk to be truly free.
